Who we are
The Woodturners Guild of North Carolina has an active membership of approximately 100 woodturners of all experience levels located in and around the Greater Triangle area. We welcome members from all walks of life who enjoy woodturning as a profession or hobby.
Mission
WGNC’s mission is to provide woodturning education through public outreach with a focus on promoting woodturning as an art form. We provide a meeting place for members and guests to share their ideas, techniques and to enrich the learning process for new woodturners. WGNC strongly encourages membership in, and giving support to the American Association of Woodturners.
Testimonials
After years of relying on YouTube videos for education and inspiration, I finally decided to check out the Woodturners Guild of NC and I wish I had done it years sooner. The club is made up of a great group of people who are always eager to help and provide guidance. The monthly demonstrations have inspired and pushed me to expand my mind and skills to achieve new techniques. I highly recommend turners of all skill levels to join and share.
